The Corinne Sciarappa Memorial Scholarship:

Corinne Sciarappa (WHS '19) was a beloved member of the Westborough High School creative community with a keen interest in STEAM, who passed away in 2019 due to cancer. The Corrine Sciarappa Memorial Scholarship was established in 2023 to honor Corinne's memory and impact on the school. It supports the education of those community members who may share in some of Corinne's joys, challenges, and aspirations, letting Corinne continue to support fellow students as they march with the band, become immersed in Modernism, or express themselves in whatever way resonates with them. In doing so, it embodies the compassion and kindness that Corinne always showed to others, and helps WHS students to foster a connection with their creative spirit and a focus on building a better world.

The Corinne Sciarappa Memorial Scholarship is awarded to those who, like Corinne, are drawn to both the power of creative expression and the promise of evidence-based research as tools to improve the world around them. Corinne had planned to pursue a career in medical research; recipients should intend to pursue a career in STEAM.
